General information

◇ What sets our jewelry apart from almost anything else on the market is that each piece is formed in some part with sand collected over the years from all over the country as small souvenirs of a time and a place. It’s the unique characteristics of each of these little souvenirs that gives every piece of jewelry its own story told in the texture of its surface. If you have some sand, a rock that you don’t mind sacrificing or even some dirt that means something to you, we’d be happy to use it in the creation of your own personalized jewelry. We’re also happy to recycle any gold, silver or gemstone jewelry you may have to give new life to an ill-fitting heirloom by repurposing it into a piece of bespoke jewelry. ◇ Everyone deserves something special of their own, which is why we’re more than happy to work with our customers on installment plans. Just pay it off at your own pace. Generally, we ask for at least a 25% deposit of the full ticket price before we begin working on a piece, and ask that you finish paying for it within 6 months. However, we can make alternative deposit amount and timeframe arrangements better suited to your particular needs if necessary. After we’ve received the remaining balance, we’ll ship the order. We do not charge interest or additional fees for installment plans. If you decide that you don’t want the piece or can’t pay for the rest of it, we can refund what you have paid already. Please note that cancellations after the item has already been made may be subject to a restocking fee of up to $100, so if you need to cancel an order paid in installments please let us know as soon as possible.

◇ Our current lead time is approximately three weeks; however, this changes seasonally and will be updated as needed.

◇ As of now, we do not offer our jewelry for sale outside of the United States. Please check back in the future as this may change as we continue to expand.

◇ We do not offer expedited or rush orders because it wouldn’t be fair to everyone else. However, we do try to get orders out as soon as possible at all times, and it is no uncommon for us to ship orders well under our stated lead time.

◇ All prices for gold jewelry are determined by the market price of gold, which can fluctuate dramatically (over 25% within the last year alone). We update our prices as necessary with changes in the spot price of gold. Additionally, the prices and availability of ethically produced gems frequently changes because of their limited and small-batch availability. If you saw something on our site a while back which is no longer listed for sale or which has changed in price, it’s usually because of the inconstant supply of responsibly produced gems.

◇ For all repairs, resizing, returns and exchanges, please contact us before shipping your item to us, and include your name, email, reference or order number and return address along with the item.

◇ All gemstone and small rings pictured on the website are size 6-7, while all larger rings pictured are size 10-11.

Shipping Information

All shipping is free via USPS Priority Mail and requires a signature. Please note that you may sign for your order online through the USPS website, but we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. Please note that our free shipping policy does not cover shipping for returns, resizing, or repairs.

Warranty

We guarantee the quality of our work for the life of the piece excluding damage, normal or excessive wear and tear, scratched or chipped stones, lost or stolen jewelry, and all chains and earring backs. For gemstones including diamonds, we guarantee against the loss of stones for one year from the time you receive your order, excluding damage and/or excessive wear and tear. It is important for you to regularly inspect your jewelry for signs of damage, wear or loose stones. If you find any signs of problems, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make any necessary repairs at a minimal cost (meaning labor and materials at cost) to you for anything not covered by the guarantee. In the unlikely event that your jewelry should fail due to faulty craftsmanship, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can fix it for the cost of shipping it to us (we will cover return shipping). We reserve the right to make the determination of what constitutes faulty craftsmanship at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse making repairs on items which have been worked on by other jewelers. This policy is necessary because we have no way of knowing precisely what someone else did or how exactly they went about it. Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase. To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible within the allotted time period and include your name and order number. Cancellations will not be accepted after this time period. If you need to change the size on your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing the order (please see Resizing below for more information).

Returns

If you need to return your purchase, please contact us within 72 hours after your item was signed for and delivered according to the tracking details. Returns must be shipped back within 5 business days (however long it takes in transit is fine as long as it is shipped within the allotted time period). Although it is not required, we recommend insuring the shipment for the full value of the item in the event that it is lost in transit. We are not responsible for items lost or stolen in transit. To receive a full refund, please return the jewelry in unworn and salable condition along with the receipt, jewelry box and care packet. Please note that all returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to $100 to cover time and labor, which we reserve the right to assess at our sole discretion. If at our discretion we determine that you purchased two rings with the intention of returning one of them and keeping the one that fits best, we will assess a $100 restocking fee. We also reserve the right to assess a restocking fee of $100 for returns on custom orders (i.e. items not listed in our online shop, please note that different karats or colors of gold of our regularly listed items are not considered custom orders).

Exchanges

Exchanges may be made for store credit within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the item is returned in unworn and salable condition. If you need to exchange an item please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that exchanges may be subject to a restocking fee of up to $100 to cover labor and time, which we reserve the right to assess at our discretion. Although it is not required, we recommend insuring the items shipped back to us for the full value of the item in the event that it is lost in transit. We are not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in the mail.

Resizing

Rings without gems can be resized up or down about a size or so for the life of the ring free of charge minus the cost of shipping. If you need a ring resized more than approximately one full size, we reserve the right to assess a small fee to cover labor and materials. Because of the way that they are made, gemstone rings are more difficult to resize, and may require a small fee to cover the work and any additional materials.
